Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cyntrek Solutions Private Limited ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the Petmartz platform ("Platform," "Service"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Platform.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

- •You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- •You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations
- •All registration information you submit is truthful and accurate
User Accounts
Account Creation
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

- •Maintain and promptly update your account information
- •Maintain the security of your password and account
- •Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- •Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that we deem harmful to other users or the Platform.
Social Media Posts & Community Content
Content Posting
PetMartz allows users to create and share social media posts on behalf of themselves, their pets, or their business accounts. All posts are public by default and can be viewed by anyone. By creating posts, you agree to:
- •Post only content that you own or have permission to share
- •Respect intellectual property rights of others
- •Ensure all content is appropriate for a family-friendly pet community
- •Comply with all media size and duration limits (images: 5MB max, videos: 3 minutes max)
Prohibited Content
You may not post content that:
- •Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of privacy
- •Contains nudity, violence, hate speech, or discriminatory content
- •Promotes animal cruelty or neglect
- •Contains spam, advertising (except from verified business accounts), or misleading information
- •Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights
Moderation & Removal
We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate. Content moderation is performed manually by our staff. Users can report inappropriate posts or comments for review. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Reactions & Comments
Users can interact with posts through pet-themed reactions and comments. All interactions should be respectful and constructive. Harassment, spam, or abusive comments will result in removal and potential account restrictions.
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you post. However, by posting content on PetMartz, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, and display your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. You can delete your posts at any time, which will revoke this license.
Listings and Transactions
Creating Listings
When creating a listing on the Platform, you agree to:
- •Provide accurate and honest descriptions of pets or items
- •Use only photographs that you own or have permission to use
- •Set fair and reasonable prices
- •Comply with all applicable laws regarding animal sales and welfare
- •Not list any prohibited items or animals
- •Update or remove listings when items are no longer available
Prohibited Listings
You may not create listings for:
- Endangered or protected species
- Animals obtained through illegal means
- Sick or injured animals without proper disclosure
- Animals for fighting, baiting, or other harmful purposes
- Stolen property or counterfeit items
- Items that violate any local, state, or federal laws
Transactions
Petmartz serves as a platform to connect buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transactions between users. All transactions are conducted directly between users. You acknowledge that:
- •We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any listings
- •We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of users
- •You are solely responsible for evaluating listings and conducting transactions
- •You assume all risks associated with transactions
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- •Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- •Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- •Impersonate any person or entity
- •Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- •Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
- •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or user accounts
- •Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Platform
- •Collect personal information about other users without consent
- •Post spam, advertising, or promotional content without permission
- •Use the Platform to distribute malware or harmful code
Prohibited Content
We strictly prohibit the upload or sharing of inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content on our platform. By using Petmartz, you agree not to post:
- Adult, Nude, or Inappropriate Content: Nude images, pornography, sexual content, or any material of an adult nature is strictly prohibited.
- Violent or Harmful Content: Content depicting violence, cruelty to animals, or illegal activities.
- Offensive or Discriminatory Content: Hate speech, discriminatory language, or content that incites violence.
- Spam and Malicious Content: Spam, phishing attempts, malware, or any content designed to harm users or systems.
- Illegal Activities: Any content promoting illegal activities or violating Sri Lankan laws.
Violations: Users who violate these content policies will have their accounts immediately terminated and may face legal consequences.
Sri Lankan Laws and Regulations
As a platform operating in Sri Lanka, Petmartz and all users must comply with Sri Lankan laws related to animal welfare, pet trading, and online commerce.
Animal Welfare Laws
- All users must comply with the Sri Lanka Animal Welfare Act and related regulations governing the treatment of animals.
- Prohibition of cruelty to animals - any form of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment is strictly forbidden.
- Users must provide proper documentation and comply with veterinary requirements for pet sales and adoption.
Pet Trading Regulations
- All pet sales must comply with local municipality regulations and obtain necessary permits where required.
- Endangered species trading is strictly prohibited under the Fauna and Flora Protection Ordinance.
- Users must disclose accurate information about pet health, vaccinations, and medical history as required by law.
Online Commerce Laws
- All transactions must comply with the Consumer Affairs Authority Act and fair trading practices.
- Proper disclosure of pricing, terms, and conditions as required by consumer protection laws.
- Compliance with data protection and privacy laws in Sri Lanka.
Legal Compliance: Petmartz is a platform that connects users. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their compliance with all applicable Sri Lankan laws and regulations.
Copyright and Content Ownership
Content Ownership
When you upload content (images, videos, text, descriptions) to Petmartz, you retain full ownership and copyright of your content. Petmartz does not claim ownership of any content you post.
License to Use
By posting content on our platform, you grant Petmartz a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Display and showcase your content on the Petmartz platform
- Use your content in platform marketing and promotional materials
- Adapt your content as necessary to display properly on our platform
Your Responsibilities
- You must have the right to post the content and grant the license described above
- You must not post content that infringes on the copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of others
- You are solely responsible for any claims arising from content you post
Company Intellectual Property
While you own your user-generated content, Petmartz owns all intellectual property related to the platform itself, including but not limited to our logo, design, software, trademarks, and brand identity.
Content Removal: You may request removal of your content at any time by contacting us. However, some content may remain in archived form for legal or security purposes.
Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- •The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- •The results obtained from using the Platform will be accurate or reliable
- •Any errors in the Platform will be corrected
- •The Platform will meet your requirements
